When smart women get unclear, overwhelmed and unable to move forward
Now that we are officially in the final quarter of 2016, I have some questions for you.
How is the year going so far?
Are you on track to hit your 2016 goals?
Do you even recall what your 2016 goals were?
Is there an intention somewhere inside you that you’ve been murmuring about all year but have yet to make a move on?
Is there a bold dream that you committed to honouring this year, but with the grind of daily life and work, are now in danger of abandoning?
Do you know in your heart that you “emptied yourself out” in service of your dreams and goals in 2016.
Or did you prioritize other people’s intentions (again), pushing your own targets and wishes into a forlorn looking heap.
Are you clear that you are on target to hit it out of the park this year, and are you certain that you will carry this feeling of accomplishment with you as you prepare and plan for 2017?
You’ve heard the expression — most often directed toward entrepreneurs — that you need to work “on your business” as much as you work “in your business.”
The same is true of life. If you want to squeeze all the juice out of your life, you can’t just work “in” it. You must work on it.
Every day, I speak to brilliant, successful, well-educated women (women just like you, perhaps?) who look — on the outside at least — as though they have it all together. And in truth, they often do have a lot to be thankful for, financial stability, a good job, a decent support system.
There is a yearning inside them. A dissatisfaction that won’t. let. up. Can you relate?
Do you ever feel a desire for greater meaning, excitement or passion in your work that simply isn’t getting fulfilled?
Do you ever find that when it comes to setting intentions for yourself, you feel unclear, afraid or overwhelmed?
And do you ever find yourself questioning yourself deeply about this lack of clarity…wondering just how many months or years you have wasted feeling uncertain, overwhelmed and as a result, stuck in a state of procrastination?
I get it.
In fact, there are 4 major reasons that smart women wrestle with uncertainty and overwhelm.
And because I speak to so many women individually about this challenge, I decided I’d offer a free training on the topic this week.
If you haven’t participated in one of my training webinars before, then you are in for a treat. They are one part Oprah, one part Sheryl Sandberg, one part Brene Brown, one part Fijian warrior queen.
So join me online this Thursday, October 13th at 8pm Eastern for a free online webinar. (If you can’t make the date, we’ll post the recording for 24 hours afterwards for all those who register).
Pour a glass of pinot, or brew a cup of herbal tea, get comfortable and discover:
- The four most common reasons smart, accomplished women get stuck in procrastination, overwhelm and a lack of clarity.
- The one thing you MUST do in order to craft a truly powerful vision for yourself in 2017.
- The 3 critical blocks that are holding you back from setting and achieving your biggest goals...and reaching your true potential in the process.
- A powerful self-coaching tool Eleanor uses EVERY DAY to help her clients set the RIGHT goals for them.
Plus, show up live and stay until the end and your name will be entered in a draw to win a free ticket to my 3-day face-to-face women’s leadership retreat next month.
PS. This will be a life-changing training for you. Don’t forget to register.
