Fierce: showing a heartfelt and powerful intensity.
What I do for work: I am the Queen of Radical Results at Live Brazen. I am mama to 7 year old twins and a 5 year old.
Three words my friends would use to describe me: Intense, Funny, Smart
My vision of a perfect Saturday: Massage, sunshine, tea, books, my husband and my kids
My top 3 personal or professional WINS from the last month: In August I took the month off to hang with my kids, in September I launched a monthly membership program and joined a new mastermind
My 2-sentence definition of success: Being able to use my unique perspective and skills to change other people's lives for the better and getting paid great money to do it!
The most courageous thing I did in the last year: I completely changed my business model in November 2014. This was scary because I had just enrolled in a very expensive mastermind, hired a new team member and was contributing financially to the household. I had to go back to square one.
The advice I would give to my younger self: You don't have to prove a thing. You have so much to contribute as is. Write. Dance. Dream. Do. Be the shiniest version of yourself. Don't feel like you have to water yourself down to make other people more comfortable in your presence. You will find your real friends this way. Let the rest of them have their reactions. It's about them. NOT you.
A book that changed my life: The Slight Edge by Jeff Olsen
What change are you working to create in your life, community or through your work: I am always trying to expand my awareness of what is possible, I am trying to be a more peaceful parent, I am supporting women to "live brazen" whatever that looks like for them.
My two-sentence definition of leadership: Being in integrity by living my message. Being in humility by remembering that there is always more to learn.
The best career advice I ever received: "Show, do not tell." - Martha Beck. "Amy, no matter what you do, not everyone is going to like you." - My Mom "The Universe responds in cashflow." - Danielle LaPorte "Money is repelled by seriousness." - Travis Sago
The two most important strategies I have used to build my career: Vulnerability. Experimentation.
My most powerful self-care tool: Kundalini yoga
The three people dead or alive, I'd most like to have join me for lunch: My mom, Jai Jing, Scott Harrison
